Baby weight can be a big motivator. In 2010, I gave birth to a healthy baby boy. A year later, I was back to my highest pregnancy weight, with no new pregnancy! So I got serious about making better choices: eating better, getting the right amount of sleep and, of course, exercising on a regular basis. My workout posts on social media got a lot of attention from friends and family. They wanted tips, even requested time in the gym with me. I realized fitness had become more than just a hobby. I wanted it to be my life.
Now I've been a Certified Personal Trainer for seven years, helping clients of different fitness levels achieve their goals. I'm also a Certified Pilates Instructor. I use Pilates in my training sessions to help my clients gain core strength, flexibility and more joint mobility. After years of Cardio Kickboxing, I also spar with clients. Strength? Pilates?
